Our Boerner Divider is the standard divider for all government and local grain inspection offices. It is built to meet USDA-FGIS (GIPSA) specifications for official inspections and is referenced in the equipment handbook.
The 34 divider is gravity operated. Sample is placed in the hopper and released by moving a slide gate located in the hopper throat. The product is evenly dispersed over a cone that has 38 pockets. The grain, after initial separation, is rejoined into two chutes which empty out of the bottom hopper.
The Boerner is calibrated to provide accurate splits of + /– 1% on a 1000g sample.
The Boerner divider is made from brass and copper, which makes it rust resistant. The legs and supports are brass plated steel. A divider is supplied complete with two brass pans with handles for easy transport of divided samples. The 34 stands 31″ high with 3″ clearance under the spouts.
Actual dims. – 19″ L x 19″ W x 38″ H.

Cargo Type Divider
The Cargo Type Divider is a high capacity splitter made to meet USDA-FGIS (GIPSA) specifications for official inspections. Great where portability is necessary. The Cargo is also used for dividing samples obtained from Gamet automatic samplers or when large amounts of sample are collected.
The 292 is 41″ in overall height; the body measures 23″, not including the spouts, and 26-1/2″ including spouts. The legs measure 18″ overall with a clearance from the spouts at 14-1/2″ to accommodate with larger buckets under the spouts.
The Cargo divider is ruggedly constructed of brass and has 20 divider pockets.
Actual dims. -15″ L x 15″ W x 35″ H. Ship wt. 26 lbs
The Riffle Divider is used for halving dry materials. As the product is poured into the hopper, it is divided into two equal portions by a series of chutes which discharge alternately in opposite directions. Prices include stainless steel dividers, galvanized iron pans, scoop and cleaning brush. The R75 is enclosed and all other models are open style as shown in the photograph.
Extra scoops and brushes are available.
Positive Action Divider
Precision Calibration offers the traditional positive action divider that handles seed, grain and feed. The Precision Divider has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to precisely divide larger samples into working size samples in a matter of seconds. Ideal for smaller seeded crops.
The dividing and mixing are accomplished by the centrifugal action of a motor driven revolving neoprene disc positioned under the hopper. A smooth inside chrome-plated finish virtually eliminates any of the sample sticking to the inner surfaces. Both the hopper and cylinder top lift off to provide easy access to the interior of the dividing chamber. Also available, a 5″ X 5″ graduated aluminum cup, fits nicely under the 106 spouts and holds approximately 1 quart/1 liter. Cup is graduated with 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 marks.
Actual dims. 13″ L x 13″ W x 19-1/4″ H, Ship dims. 15″ L x 15″ W x 22″ H. Net wt. 41 lbs, Ship wt. 46 lbs
Rotary Dividers are fast and accurate to within 1/10th of 1% of the total sample by weight. These dividers can significantly reduce the length of time it takes one employee to handle and divide larger samples. These dividers eliminate the need to divide samples many times as with the traditional gravity type dividers.
Our models 4203 and 4204 have 10 rotary divisions. When placing an order for the 4203 unit, please specify the divisions you require. Any combination of three numbers adding up to 10, for example a division of 3-4-3 or 5-3-2.
The model 4204 again has 10 rotary divisions, but divides the sample into 4 portions. Any combination of 4 numbers adding up to 10 will tell us the divisions you require.
