Crush equipment for canola and mustard
When grading canola or mustard, you perform a “crush”.
Pour grain over a seed paddle to fill the depressions with grain, then cover the paddle with masking tape. Using the roller, crush the seeds beneath the tape. Once you peel the tape off, you can easily identify distinctly green seeds and heat damaged seeds.
The paddles are made of acrylic and are pre-drilled with 100 or 500 depressions.
