Total Aflatoxin

The primary fungi that produce aflatoxins can grow on crops or grains exposed to warm and humid conditions. Aflatoxins target the liver immune system, kidney and other body organs.

  • Detection range: 0-460 ppb

Deoxynivalenol (DON)

Deoxynivalenol is caused by fungal infection by certain strains of Fusarium that can cause acute temporary nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, and fever.

  • Commodities: corn, wheat, barley, DDGs, oats, rye
  • Detection range: 0-44 ppm

T-2/HT-2

T-2 and HT-2 toxins are formed by mold fungi of the Fusarium species. These toxins damage body cells and impair the development of vital cell components. The effects can include susceptibility to infection, reproductive disorders, and decreased production (weight gain, eggs, milk, etc.).

  • Detection range: 0-1000 ppb

Total Fumonisin

Fumonisin (B1, B2, and B3) is caused by fungal infection by certain strains of Fusarium. Fumonisins are linked with several health issues like cancer of the esophagus and have toxic effects on the liver.

  • Detection range: 0-44 ppm

Ochratoxin A

Ochratoxin is caused by fungal infection by certain strains of Aspergillus ochraceus and Penicillium verrucosum. Consumption of ochratoxin contaminated food or feed can lead to acute kidney toxicity, hepatotoxicity, and teratogenic effects.

  • Detection range: 0-100 ppb

Zearalenone

Zearalenone caused by fungal infection by certain Fusarium and Gibberella species. Consumption of Zearalenone-contaminated food or feed can lead to reproductive harm and reduced milk and egg production.

  • Detection range: 0-1650 ppb

Test kits
